June 2015Hampton Court Flower Show
The perennially popular Hampton Court Flower Show draws crowds of over 160,000 visitors in the course of a week and is the largest of the RHS flower shows. It takes place on a 33-acre site erected on the north and south sides of the Long Water in Hampton Court Park, while the Tudor and Baroque façade of Hampton Court palace forms a magnificent, stately backdrop.
The RHS Show is launched with much fanfare on the first evening with an exclusive preview evening, which includes fireworks and live music, whilst all other tickets range from £15 to £35. The show offers a plethora of ideas and inspiration for the enthusiastic gardener with as many as 50 display gardens. Emphasis will be put on floral marquees, and on growing food to eat in the Growing Tastes Marquee with abundant opportunity to buy a variety of plants and garden products.
If you start to feel a little peckish, the show also offers a range of cuisines including seafood and champagne at Grow, the Garden Walk Café (Escape), Long Water Delis (Escape and Grow), the Alium restaurant (Inspire), Kings Food Court (Escape) & The Palace Garden Room (Grow).
