Day after the Wedding
- Some couples will go straight off on honeymoon, having said goodbye to family and friends when they left the wedding the previous evening. Transport arrangements should have been made in advance.
- If the couple stayed at the reception hotel, they should expect to see family and guests the day after, even if it's not pre-arranged. A brunch can be organised for the wedding party, family and selected guests.
- Alternatively, for marquee weddings, a lunch party can be held. Leftover food and drink can be served, or topped up by a barbecue / buffet.
- The best man should be on hand to make any final collections - suits, wedding presents etc - for the couple.
