Every year, NCRD is host to the Manzanita Walk/Run. This 5K/10K Saturday event is held on the sandy stretch of beach in Manzanita, Oregon. When it’s sunny, it’s truly beautiful. When it’s foggy, the rule is: “keep the sound of the sea on your right on the way out and on your left on the way back!” The event is open to all, from avid runners and walkers to families looking to enjoy wonderful northwest Oregon beaches.
