Unconferences

Unconferences are the organizer’s version of your typical conference. Instead of a set agenda, with panels and plenaries created by the conference organizers, unconferences start with a blank agenda, and everyone who attends gets to put sessions “on the board” as they go.

NOI hosts multiple unconferences every year, from Rootscamp with several thousand organizers in Washington, DC every winter, to smaller UpRoots unconferences focused on topics like digital, communications, and tech.
