Eddie Tejeda is a technologist interested in the changing roles of civic institutions and the impact of open information on cities. He is the co-founder of OpenOakland, a civic innovation group based in of Oakland, Calif., and co-founder and CEO of Civic Insight, a startup focused on providing information on city properties. In 2012, Tejeda was a Code for America fellow. Previously he helped create Regulation Room, a project between Cornell University and the U.S. Department of Transportation aimed at increasing public participation in federal rulemaking. He is also one of the creators of LittleSis.org, a free database detailing the connections between powerful people and organizations.
