'Batman Vs Superman' ('Man Of Steel 2') Wraps Filming, Cinematographer Hints At 'Dark Knight Returns' Clash?
"That's a wrap."
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" filming has wrapped, according to cinematographer Larry Fong. In an Instagram post, Fong confirmed the end has come in a short video of some snow falling on a black object.
As ComicBook.com notes, the material in question very well could be Batman's suit, which draws us back to Frank Miller's "Dark Knight Returns #4" when Batman and Superman faced off in a snow-covered Gotham City. With the series confirmed as an inspiration for Zack Snyder's film and Miller serving as a consultant, it's certainly not a stretch.

A few months ago at San Diego Comic-Con, Ben Affleck confirmed "Dark Knight Returns" was an inspirational piece for Snyder.
"I do think Zack was heavily influenced by ['Dark Knight Returns']," he said. "Everyone's influenced by that. It's the seminal work. I don't think there's any [Batman movies] that have been made without drawing from that book because it's so good."
In another earlier interview with MovieFone, Affleck's costar Harry Lenix, who will reprise his role as General Swanwick in the "Man of Steel" follow-up, echoed his statements about "The Dark Knight Returns."
"Anybody who's a fan of the '86 graphic novel 'The Dark Knight Returns,' I think will be well pleased by ['Batman v Superman']," says Lennix. "This is a historic event. Clearly, Zack Snyder is on the cutting edge of directing movies of this scope and scale. I think you can depend on the acting — you've got Amy Adams, of course. You've got Henry Cavill. I don't think there are any surprises with regard to that. What will happen remains to be seen. I'd probably wind up in a box some place [if I said any more]."
Lennix also made the "Dark Knight Returns" comparison during the film's introduction last year at Comic-Con.
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters in March 2016 with stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. Supporting actors that have joined the cast include Ray Fisher (Cyborg), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Holly Hunter, Tao Okamoto, Scoot McNairy and Callan Mulvey.
