Jesse Robbins

Jesse Robbins is Founder & CEO of OnBeep, a wearable communication startup launching later this year. Prior to OnBeep, Robbins founded Chef and is widely recognized for transforming the way companies like Facebook, Google, and Yahoo manage complex internet systems. He also founded the Velocity Conference and helped start the DevOps movement. Before Chef, Robbins served as Amazon’s “Master of Disaster” where he was responsible for website availability. Robbins is a volunteer Firefighter/EMT and Emergency Manager, and led a task force deployed in Operation Hurricane Katrina. When Jesse is not building companies or putting out fires he can be found sailing, diving, and skiing.
