Brandi Glanville is certain that her friend and former Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills co-star, Kim Richards, will be just fine.

'I love her to pieces and she's got such a great soul,' the 42-year-old reality star told Us Weekly about her troubled friend on Saturday at the launch of her Unfiltered Blonde Chardonnay in Redondo Beach, California.

'She's so smart, and she's so vibrant,' Brandi added while acknowledging that the 50-year-old actress had a serious problem with substance abuse.

'I've been in contact with Kim,' Brandi assured her interviewer. 'Not in the last week, but definitely I've had her at my home. I had her to stay.'

Brandi did not specify when Kim's most recent visit was, but it was likely before the former Disney star's arrest on August 2.

'She just has to get rid of this sickness, and then she'll be fine,' Brandi said, referring to her friend's highly publicized issues with substance abuse.

'She'll be fine': When speaking of Kim - who has recently struggled with addiction and legal issues - Brandi just thought her friend needed to get over her 'sickness'

On August 2, Kim was arrested just outside of a Target store in Los Angeles, reportedly trying to take two carts full of goods before security stopped her for failing to pay.

She insisted that she did not recall whether or not she had paid for the goods and subsequently spent the night in jail before posting a $5000 bond on Monday.

Having pled not guilty to the charges of theft, Kim is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.

According to TMZ, Kim was living out of her car at the time of the arrest - she moved out of her leased home in June and has since been staying with family and friends.

Family members reportedly checked Kim back into rehab after the arrest, her second in the past six months.

Neither Brandi nor Kim will return for the upcoming season six of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.
