In the NBC drama, the star plays New York detective Harlee Santos - a single mother who falls in 'with a tight-knit group of dirty cops.'
She is later trapped by the FBI into informing on her 'brothers' and will 'have to walk the fine line between love, loyalty, honor and betrayal.'
Jennifer explained her character's dilemma in a Shades Of Blue clip released by NBC: 'Good people do questionable things all the time.'
