The music video for Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams,” the fifth single from the 1989 album, will debut next Sunday, Aug. 30 at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards pre-show. Tay announced the news tonight in a puzzling, mouth-wateringly cryptic clip on social media.
So, let’s take a second to appreciate the visuals here. We’ve got wildlife, intense stormy weather and some romantic canoodling — all wrapped in the rich colors of a dream. We cannot. freaking. wait.
Now, can we finally put that pesky theory that the “Style” video was somehow secretly meant for “Wildest Dreams” to rest?
