To give our family of cards a more consistent look, your new AmeriCU CREDIT card is similar in color to your AmeriCU DEBIT card. Please take care to destroy your old CREDIT card, NOT your debit card! Thanks!
To begin using your card, you and any joint cardholders should please follow these important steps:
NOTE: If you already received and re-registered your new card, no action is required.
STEP #1 - ACTIVATE your card by calling 1.800.527.7728 and following the instructions.
STEP #2 - UPDATE your card number with any VENDORS that automatically charge your credit card (e.g., insurance, mobile phone, Netflix, EZ Pass, utilities, subscriptions, etc.) with your new account number, expiration date, and CVV code (on the back of the card) to ensure uninterrupted service. Hint: Your statement can help you remember!
STEP #3 - REGISTER your card. If you use ONLINE BANKING, and have not logged in to our new online banking system (10.29.14 or after) and registered your credit card you MUST login, select CREDIT CARD from the menu, and follow the instructions to REGISTER your new account number.
STEP #4 - DOWNLOAD the new app AFTER receiving your new credit card. Our new standalone credit card app offers enhanced security features, such as the ability to report your card lost/stolen.
