US Lacrosse 2015 High School Boys' AAs and AAAs

Postby DakotaDan on Wed Jul 01, 2015 3:41 pm

BALTIMORE, July 1, 2015 - US Lacrosse has announced the boys' players selected as 2015 US Lacrosse High School All-Americans and All-Academic Team members. Nearly 600 players were recognized for their efforts on and off the field.

The US Lacrosse Men's Game All-American Awards and Recognition process is maintained by the Men's Game Coaches Subcommittee and administered locally by the High School Area Chairmen. The subcommittee, through these area chairmen, oversees the selection of the awards.

A US Lacrosse All-American is a player who exhibits superior skills and techniques and possesses exceptional game sense and knowledge. A US Lacrosse All-American is one of the best players in the United States, while also embodying excellent sportsmanship.

A US Lacrosse All-Academic honoree is a player who exhibits exemplary lacrosse skills, good sportsmanship on the field, and represents high standards of academic achievement in the classroom.

We are supplementing the USL AA and AAA lists with players' hometowns and other data where this information is available to us. If the colleges (or PG schools) players will be attending for 2015-2016 are shown, it doesn't necessarily mean they will be playing lacrosse there.

The two lists can be accessed on the HS-AA and HS-AAA pages (and, for future reference, the links can be found on the main Boys navigation menu). They can also be accessed directly here: 2015 Boys' All-Americans and 2015 Boys' Academic All-Americans. See the paragraph and links at the top of the listing for more information about submitting corrections and updates.

Please note that the lists were incomplete when posted on 7/01. If you notice that US Lacrosse has added a missing region or updated one that already appears, let us know. Details, including a link to what USL has posted, would be appreciated.

Congrats to all, just wondering why so few from Maryland? Am I missing something, I don't see any of the MIAA guys.

No sure why U.S. Lacrosse's own website is not update. For example, the MIAA AA's and AAA's are listed on Lax Power's website, but U.S. Lacrosse has done zero updates since the initial incomplete list posted on 7/1.
