I’m finally frustrated- Apartment Search Part 1

Harumph. It actually took me longer than I expected, but I’m having my first major moment of frustration while in New York. It is due to the fact that apartment search is a bitch. Especially when you don’t know the different areas at all. Especially when you have roommates that have to be considered too. ESPECIALLY when things like subway lines, bus lines, express, not express, laundry, elevator, post war, pre war, guarantor, credit, intersections, fee, no fee, pay stubs and other things that I am completely clueless with come into play. ESPECIALLY when there is a time limit to my current sublet and time is ticking. ESPECIALLY when photos tend to alter the images so apartments look much more enticing than they truly are and ESPECIALLY when I am the type of person that cannot rest until I know that I will have somewhere permanent. Again, back to the not liking change. I like my damn stability.

That is really all I have to say about that. Phew. I feel better already. Sort of. If I had an apartment I would feel even better. I feel that I should refer to my own prior post…

Good new is though, that after all this- I’m really looking forward to going in to work tomorrow. Good sign!
