/r/teslore is a place for anybody interested in the vast lore of The Elder Scrolls series who wants to be involved in the discussion, analyzation, clarification, understanding, and misunderstanding of it.
|1. Be civil and respectful.
||A good rule of thumb is to follow reddiquette.
|2. Read the FAQ before posting.
||Prevent repetitive questions and get a good understanding of lore by reading the FAQ.
|3. Content must be relevant to Elder Scrolls lore.
||Submissions or discussion about non-lore topics (such as the games) are not permitted. Fanfiction should aim to contribute something to lore (more info).
|4. Comments must contribute to discussion.
||Jokes, anecdotes, or anything else that isn't constructive to discussion will be removed.
|5. Submissions must be titled usefully.
||If you have a single question, make it the title of your submission. Otherwise, make it clear in the title what your post is about.
|6. Don't ask questions that are too broad.
||If your question is very broad in scope, you can likely find the information you need by looking it up yourself.
|7. Don't ask questions that are too simple.
||If your question can be answered by checking UESP or TIL, don't ask it here.
|8. Don't bring up canon or your idea of "real TES" where it isn't asked about.
||The Elder Scrolls has no established canon and embraces the fact that everyone has their own interpretation.
