Stuffed Mushrooms…

Do you get tired of fixing the samething for supper day after day? I do, and I’m always looking for new dishes to prepare for my family…many of which I create in the comfort of my own kitchen. Tonight, I decided to try my hand at stuffed mushrooms. So I began with twelve large white button mushrooms, I cleaned the mushrooms and removed the stems, then I mixed an eight ounce package of cream cheese with a pinch of seasoned salt, black pepper, soft bacon bits, and a pinch of paprika. I stuffed the mushrooms with the cream cheese mixture and placed them in a pan sprayed with cooking spray. I crushed a small baggie of seasoned croutons and sprinkled them over the mushrooms and baked them uncovered for twenty minutes at 350 degrees. I served them with meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans! My family loved meal, and devoured the mushrooms. They decided that the mushrooms would make a great appetizers!
