Dr Brewerton is Executive Medical Director of the Hearth Center for Healing in Columbia, SC, and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr Brewerton is triple board–certified in general psychiatry, child/adolescent psychiatry and forensic psychiatry, Distinguished Fellow of APA and AACAP, Founding Fellow of AED, and an Honorary Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. He is Past-President of the Eating Disorders Research Society and has published over 125 articles/chapters. He edited the Clinical Handbook for Eating Disorders: An Integrated Approach and co-edited (with Amy Dennis) Eating Disorders, Substance Use Disorders and Addictions: Research, Clinical and Treatment Aspects (in press).

Dr. Riley is currently board certified in General Adult Psychiatry, Psychosomatic Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. He has attained Fellow status within the American Psychiatric Association. His clinical interest is in treating patients diagnosed as Seriously Mentally Ill. He also enjoys working with HIV positive patients who have psychiatric comorbidity.
