Stag and Hen Party Budgets

The organiser must budget carefully and make sure that everyone who is invited can afford what's planned. Costs should be shared equally among all the guests.

If possible, it is a nice gesture for the guests to pay for the bride/groom's share. This need not include travel or accommodation costs, but should stretch to cover the majority of expenses of the actual 'do'.

The budget of every guest should be considered; an expensive weekend away may mean that some guests have to decline.

The cost of travel, accommodation, food, entertainment and contributions to presents, outfits or games must be taken into account.

A breakdown of costs can be emailed to guests promptly so that everyone is aware of expenses early on. They can then confirm their attendance.

Online bank transfers are a sensible way for guests to pay, ensuring that the organiser is not out of pocket or paying for people he/she doesn't know.
