An effective HR information system is critical in today’s organizations, in order to cope with a number
of issues such as increasing organizational demands, a more extensive use and need of information,
continuous pressures to reduce costs, as well as making HR a more strategic business partner. This
paper highlights the main reasons that organizations consider when introducing an HRIS; in addition
to develop a framework of two types of dimensions for assessing the effectiveness of the system
(qualitative and quantitative), and two key enablers to sustain its success (organizational suitability and
system architecture). It also discusses additional issues and challenges faced by organizations when
implementing an HRIS.

Demand for milk and milk products caused vast growth of dairy industries in most countries of the
world. Consequently, the amount of wastewater and waste material generated and discharged from
these industries has also increased. Phytoremediation provides eco-friendly, low cost treatment
approach for the waste water treatment. In the current study aquatic macrophytes Eichornia and
Lemna were taken in account individually and in combination. A wetland approach was used for
the treatment of effluent (waste water) from Parag Dairy and Milk processing plant, Meerut.
Effluent was then transferred to glass aquarium and analysed for Physico-chemical parameters viz.
Temp., pH, Turbidity. The initial parameters of the raw waste water were recorded Temp 25.34oC,
pH 5.8, Turbidity 648 NTU. After the treatment, 75 % removal of turbidity was recorded in case
of Eichornia (486 NTU), while Lemna showed a potential of 54 % removal (350 NTU) of turbidity.

Aquatic animals and aquatic resources are valuable natural assets. Aquatic animals give higher
productivity and protein yield as compared to agriculture or animal husbandry and have less energy
expenditure for food production. Besides protein, fish flesh contains sufficient quantity of vitamins
and minerals, which are essential for growth. Aquatic animals enhance national economy and
provide financial benefits by employment, profit and money savings. Sea food industry provides
jobs for commercial fishers, wholesaler and retailors.
The rapidly increasing use of pesticides in agriculture, poses serious danger, both to the public
health, fisheries and aquatic ecosystem. Pesticides enter in aquatic ecosystem causes undesirable
loss in the form of pathology or mortality of aquatic animals, which causes decline of aquatic
micro-organisms, fish and other aquatic species, like prawns, frogs, turtles, muscles, water birds
etc. These aquatic animals are main source of natural food chains. If flesh of these insecticides
accumulated animals, eaten by other animals and by men, are also affected by these pesticides.
Pesticides must be used with great care, so that the health of humans, animals and the environment
are protected. Disadvantages of pesticides include their toxicity to some humans, animals and
useful plants, and the persistence (long life) of some of these chemicals in the environment, which
causes serious hazard both to the public health and the environment.

Over the last three decades there has been increasing global concern over the public health impacts
attributed to environmental pollution, in particular, the global burden of disease. The World Health
Organization (WHO) estimates that about a quarter of the diseases facing mankind today occur
due to prolonged exposure to environmental pollution.  Recent reports have shown that
approximately around 50,000 people dies daily due to water pollution only.
The main reason behind this rapid increase in pollution is the Human greed of development and
industrialization.
Recent reports have shown that with this rapid rate of conservation of natural sources of energy,
natural biomass sources would completely vanish from the earth in less than 20years. Clearly,
Human Greed has taken over human need of development. In this blind race of industrialization,
mankind has forgotten that how much it is affecting our environment and what drastic results
would occur if we continue to disrespect the nature.  With this rate of pollution, many severe issues
such as Global Warming and depletion of ozone layer etc.
In the 8 years that have passed, the political context of environment and health has evolved. As
highlighted in EEA's The European Environment— state and outlook 2010 the policy focus is
increasingly shifting from single environmental pollution issues towards systemic challenges
regarding the maintenance of ecosystem resilience and the delivery of ecosystem services to
human society.
Environment and health is not just 'an aspect' of environmental policy, it is at the heart of it. In
fact, it is central to Europe's ambition to move towards a Green Economy. With this report, taking
stock of the most pertinent environment and health issues, and combining the expertise of our two
institutes in environmental reporting and scientific research, we hope to contribute to this goal.

Malaria is one of the oldest chronic, most dreaded killer diseases. It is a protozoan Plasmodium
borne disease which is transmitted in humans by very efficient mosquito Anopheles. Out of four
plasmodium genus, vivax is more dominant and falciparum species likely to cause severe lethal
malaria. According to WHO, malaria killed 627000 people in 2012, majority of them sub-Saharan
African children under the age of 5. This preeminent tropical parasite disease is one of the top 3
killers among communicable diseases. It is the only vector borne disease to be placed on WHO-
DALY’s (disability adjusted life years) list, as it affects the mortality and morbidity rate as well as
economy of any country.

Overview:

For many organizations, the procure-to-pay cycle offers extensive opportunity for increased operational efficiency. However, it also provides potentially numerous opportunities for fraudsters to exploit control deficiencies in all three stages, purchasing, receiving and disbursements.
One common management mistake in the Purchase-to-Pay process is adhering to a reactive anti-fraud posture. A criminal act committed in, for example, the purchasing department through a kickback scheme, may be detected and dealt with on an “emergency” basis. Meanwhile, equally, if not more costly frauds may be going unnoticed in the receiving and account payable areas.
Anti-fraud experts urge a proactive, comprehensive P2P anti-fraud approach. It should be include assessing fraud risks in all three phases ... conducting regular audits that comprise testing for these risks and ... following up with effective internal control design and monitoring.

Why Should You Attend:

Fraud is growing by a staggering 20% per year, according to the respected international fraud investigation firm, Kroll. The majority of all fraud, according to the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is committed by employees.
Because most of the funds flowing out of the organization do so through the procure-to-pay cycle, it stands to reason that much of the growing fraud threat is centered on these critical closely-linked business functions.
This underscores the urgent need for management to understand the vast variety of frauds in P2P and to apply the necessary detection, audit, reporting and prevention measures.
