Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon

Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon for 3DS sold 152,000 copies during its opening week in Japan, the latest Media Create sales report reveals.

Koei Tecmo’s Empires adaption for Samurai Warriors 4 opened at 38,000 sales, moving 14,000 units across PlayStation 3, 13,000 across PS Vita, and 11,000 across PlayStation 4.

On the hardware side, PS Vita saws saw a major increase, but everything else went down. There’s also a rare scenario this week: Xbox One outsold the 3DS LL.

Expecting PS4 sales to get pretty high once the price drop happens.

  • a.mubher

PS4 price cut announcement have hurt the sales as expected. October should be interesting.

Good to see vita selling well and as much as its home console counterparts.

Pokemon. Make a sandshrew/sandslash or Mewtwo game that plays like God of War. Lol

  • EnzerPyro

That 3DS and Vita boost, Vita is back where it belongs on the list

  • 00Gundam

So a Yokai Watch spinoff sells a million copy in 2 weeks while Pokemon spinoff struggle with 150,000 copies in its first week???? Looks like Yokai Watch is the Pokemon killer in Japan.

    • Anon_Amous

Mystery Dungeon is a separate series with a Pokemon paint, comparing the two doesn’t make a lot of sense. Compare Yokai with Pokemon Alpha/Omega instead.

      • OverlordZetta

The Yokai Watch game is a spinoff too, though.

      • Renaldi Saputra

        No
Alpha/Omega is just a remake of a main series

        Busters play differently IIRC
        so it’s comparable

I have to congratulate Xbox one for selling 737 units.
And not being last on the list great job

  • Renaldi Saputra

Nice for pokemon dungeon, I heard the reception was well. Btw anyone know the comparison with how Magnagate did on its 1st week?

    • kthanxyousuck

[3DS] Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Magna Gate and the Infinity Labyrinth (Pokemon, 11/22/12) – 121,480 (New)

Better reception. We’ll have to see how the legs are. It managed to cross 200K by the 3rd week. If it has good word of mouth it should get there by next week.

      • Renaldi Saputra

        Oh nice
So yeah this would be the better one coz you can play all pokemons available and such more features

  • Unretributed

8,375 people need to pay more attention, lol

    • vishmarx

im more concerned about the 737 lmao.

Oh, right. Price drop hasn’t happened yet.

  • DanSmith

Playstation 3 is the old man in this chart. When will you die?
