Nick Robinson

A tour-de-force in political journalism, Nick Robinson has been political editor at the BBC since 2005. Robinson began his career in broadcasting at Piccadilly Radio after spending a year as president of the Conservative Party youth group. After joining the BBC as a production trainee, he became deputy editor of Panorama, and later political correspondent for the corporation, during which time he presented Weekend Breakfast and Late Night Live on BBC Radio 5 Live. After a few years with ITV News he returned to the BBC where he has secured his reputation as an esteemed political journalist.
