Reception Venue Catering

Catering in hired venues can vary greatly in standard. The bride and groom should discuss the options available before making any formal agreements.

In-House CAtering

Many venues will offer in-house catering as part of the wedding package. It is vital that the quality of the food is checked before confirming any booking. The couple should organise a tasting and discuss the flexibility of the menu.

If the venue's catering proves to be unsatisfactory, then the couple must check whether outside caterers may be brought in and whether they will be allowed to use the kitchen facilities.

Hired Catering

Some venues do not provide food themselves, but have a recommended list of suppliers. The bride and groom should contact the suppliers for quotes and check that they fall within their budget.
