Green Infra Limited is a renewable energy company that generates power and currently operating in India. The company is operating under diverse portfolio of Wind, Solar, Hydro Energy, Biomass, and Energy Efficiency, and currently supplies 406 MW[1][2] of clean energy to India's power grid.

This company operates under portfolio of Wind, Solar, Hydro, Biomass and Energy Efficiency and currently operating in the states of Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat in India.

Company has wind operating asset of 406 MW, has recently commissioned its first Solar project in the Rajkot district of Gujarat in India of 10 MW.[3]

This 10 MW[4][5] project is expected to generate 16 Million units annually and expects to save 12,000 tonnes of carbon emissions.[6]

Present activities[edit]

Green Infra's business caters to all forms renewable energy - Wind, Solar, Hydro, Biomass & Energy Efficiency. With the supply of 406 MW of clean energy to India's power grid, it will help in reducing carbon emissions nearly by 752, 000 tonnes per year.

The company's wind portfolios generates an output of 371 MW in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Gujarat and 35 MW of Solar plant in Gujarat & Rajasthan.

In 2009, the company entered the wind vertical with the development of a 24 MW Tamil Nadu plant in June 2009 almost simultaneously acquired a 100 MW portfolio of wind farms from BP[7]

In December 2010 the company entered the Solar vertical with a development of 10 MW project in Gujarat.[3] The project was commissioned in November 2011. It is the first solar project under phase 2 of Gujarat Solar Policy.[8]
