Lord Justice-Clerk (Scotland)

In the Scottish judiciary the Lord Justice-Clerk is the deputy of the Lord Justice-General. On taking his seat on the Bench he receives a title, but is always described by his Office. The Lord Justice Clerk is a privy counsellor and may be a peer.
