How to get there: Turn left out of the Aquadrome car park, pass Bury Lake and cafe on your right. Stocker's Lake is further along on your right.
Public Transport - Aquadrome; 41, 336, 385, 724. Rail/tube: Rickmansworth; Metropolitan Line.
Visitor facilities: Circular walk to the right and left which takes you around the lake.
Suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
Walking shoes are recommended.
What to see: Stocker's Lake is one of the oldest gravel pits in the Colne Valley.
Wintering duck such as shoveler and goldeneye are common visitors in nationally important numbers.
There are over sixty recorded species of breeding birds, including the common tern which breeds on specially constructed rafts in the lake.
The heronry is the largest in the county.
