Update, 10/2: For Spring 2016, Tom Ford left the runway and Fashion Week scene behind and instead opted to give his collection the video treatment. The designer tapped Lady Gaga to star in a 3-minute video that unveiled the Spring collection through a model dance party filmed by Nick Knight.

Ford told WWD, "Instead of having a traditional show this season, I decided to try something new. I wanted to think about how to present a collection in a cinematic way that was designed from its inception to be presented online."

Original Post, 10/1: After moving his Fall 2015 runway from London to Los Angeles, Tom Ford is once again changing the game for his Spring 2016 collection debut. After a cryptic announcement via Instagram that the designer would, in fact, debut his latest on October 2, 2015, we were left without answers to  pivotal questions like where? and how?

More recently, Ford lifted part of the veil, announcing that the brand would be eschewing a traditional fashion show in favor of a short film to be released via his website. Watch the teaser below—featuring a blonde model in all black and very little of it—and stay tuned to this space for the whole film.
