View dismissal MS Wade b Dilshan 14 15 19 2 0 73.68
4.2 bowled him! Dilshan's been skidding his balls through to the batsman, and Wade tried to pull this one when it wasn't that short, he missed and Dilshan hit off stump 22/1
View dismissal DA Warner c Dilshan b Malinga 100 184 140 4 1 71.42
45.5 they've caught one in the deep! Dilshan was the man on the deep cover boundary and he came running in and slid to catch Warner's lofted drive. It's been an uncharacteristic innings from Warner, who had a groin injury after the first final. I wonder if he'll come out to field. Well played though, he had to tailor his game to the demands of a slower surface. 240/3
View dismissal SR Watson run out (Maharoof) 15 42 34 0 0 44.11
15.1 Maharoof to Warner, Watson's been run out! He dived full length into the crease but has still been caught short by Maharoof's direct hit. Dilshan and Herath will be very relieved men, after they both dropped Watson. Warner pushed the ball on the leg side and ran a quick single, Maharoof sprinted to his left, picked up, turned around, and threw at the batsman's end. He could have attempted to run out Warner as well, but decided Watson had had enough let-offs. A badly judged run. Watson was watching the ball and I don't think he expected Maharoof to throw at his end because the bowler had to turn around and transfer the ball from left to right hand 56/2
View dismissal MJ Clarke* run out (Herath) 117 143 91 5 4 128.57
48.6 from Kulasekara, and after that bit of sloppiness, Herath produces a direct hit to run out Clarke. Clarke played the ball straight to the fielder at midwicket and set off, he's in discomfort as he runs though and doesn't dive to try and make his crease. Herath's throw has him well short. Clarke's played a terrific innings but is in pain as he walks off, looks like an issue with his leg 266/5
View dismissal MEK Hussey b Malinga 6 7 5 1 0 120.00
47.1 bowled him! Hussey comes out of his crease and towards the leg side, trying to drive through the off. Malinga beats him with a full and fast ball and hits the stumps 256/4
View dismissal DJ Hussey b Malinga 7 8 8 0 0 87.50
49.6 bowled him, Malinga lands another perfect yorker and beats Hussey's slog with the swing into the right-hander, the ball clips leg stump 271/6
