Screen Fonts

How do I change the font size in Gramp's screens? I'm running at 1024x768 resolution and the fonts are awfully small for my old eyes. I've tried editing the desktop but it doesn't affect fonts within apps. Playing around with all the fancy desktops that came with my distribution, some do have larger fonts but I've spent a lot of time configuring KDE desktop and I'd like to keep it for a while. Thanks, Jim ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by Shop4tech.com-Lowest price on Blank Media 100pk Sonic DVD-R 4x for only $29 -100pk Sonic DVD+R for only $33 Save 50% off Retail on Ink & Toner - Free Shipping and Free Gift. http://www.shop4tech.com/z/Inkjet_Cartridges/9_108_r285

Gramps does not control the fonts, it's all adjusted in gnome settings. If you can run gnome-control-center on your system, or open the "applications:///Preferences" location in nautilus, you should be able to adjust the fonts. Both of the above will call the gnome-font-properties capplet, which you can also call directly: $ gnome-font-properties Set application font as you wish, and GRAMPS should be using it. Version 1.0.7 ("Run away! Run away!") released

The GRAMPS project is embarassed to acknowledge the problem with the recently released version 1.0.6 ("Pink frilly edges"). The edges turned out not to be all that pink and less than frilly. Besides it also brought a problem when starting gramps for the new users. In this light, the GRAMPS project is still pleased to announce the release of version 1.0.7 of GRAMPS. This is a bug fix release. Source code and RPM packages for RedHat 9/Fedora Core 1/Fedora Core 2 and Mandrake can be downloaded from the GRAMPS sourceforge page at: http://sf.net/projects/gramps Debian packages will follow shortly. Version 1.0.7 -- the "Run away! Run away!" release * Fixed gonf key settings that caused 1.0.6 to fail in certain circumstances * Enhanced the Finnish translation (Eero Tamminen). * Bug fixed in the Individual Summary report. ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by Shop4tech.com-Lowest price on Blank Media 100pk Sonic DVD-R 4x for only $29 -100pk Sonic DVD+R for only $33 Save 50% off Retail on Ink & Toner - Free Shipping and Free Gift. http://www.shop4tech.com/z/Inkjet_Cartridges/9_108_r285
