Justin Trudeau*
Eldest son of the late Right Honorable Pierre Trudeau, he has been an MP since 2008.
The education and empowerment of youth are priorities that have dominated Justin Trudeau's professional and personal life. Shortly after completing a B.A. in English Literature at McGill University, Mr. Trudeau moved to Vancouver to earn a B.Ed. from the University of British Columbia. For the next four years, he devoted himself to teaching children of all ages, in public and private schools, in a wide range of subjects. Now living in Montreal, Mr. Trudeau, as chair of the Katimavik Board of Directors, is working with various organizations and levels of government to increase the skills and engagement of Canada's youth in a wide range of areas.
Mr. Trudeau is a Pierre Trudeau Estate’s designate to the membership of the Foundation.
* Mr. Trudeau has withdrawn from the affairs of the Foundation for the duration of his involvement in federal politics.
