About this site

The idea for JusticeForKurt.com was born around December 7th 2001, soon after Tom Grant promised to release audio clips of taped conversations which involved himself, Courtney Love, and Courtney's lawyer Rosemary Carroll on his website. Those clips went up on December 9th 2001.

Being disappointed in most of the theory sites out there at the time, which seemed to have been abandoned, or degenerated into silly and immature insults directed at Courtney Love, we were inspired to create a new site which simply combined the investigation work done by Tom Grant, as well as research work done by Frances Barnett, and books like Who Killed Kurt Cobain? into a very organized and easy to read advertisement-free format.

Included in the research would be streaming multimedia clips of Grant's recorded phone calls, radio, film and television coverage. We also decided to include newspaper, and magazine articles that mentioned or covered this investigation. A theory rebuttals section was added to help fire up the debate, and a few plans of action with the Do Something! section were tossed in, to complete the package.

Justice For Kurt was officially launched on March 28th 2002.

The goal of the site is to help get this information out there and get Cobain justice if he was murdered, or clear his name (and Courtney's) of all these theories if he wasn't. We think the best way this can be done is by putting pressure on the media, and various officials to take another look at this. As you can see throughout the site, there appears to be a lot of information that supports the claims made by Tom Grant. There is also information that debunks the theory info and supports the official suicide verdict. The bottom line is somebody is lying and it needs to be put to rest once and for all, for the sake of everyone involved.

If you represent the media (or authorities), and would like to talk to, or interview someone about this information, please contact Private Investigator Tom Grant or any of the others involved.

Thanks for visiting Justice For Kurt
