I wish to warmly welcome you to the website of the Ghana High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This website is meant to be a source of information on the history, people, culture, geography, economy and politics of Ghana.

It is also to enlighten users on trade, investment and tourism potentials as well as other opportunities available in Ghana. The website also provides consular information for people desirous of visiting Ghana. 

The Ghana High Commission is ready to provide any additional information to all persons who require it, especially investors and businessmen wishing to invest or do business in Ghana.

Our objective is to strive to enhance the already healthy relations between Ghana and Malaysia and also between Ghana and other nations in South East Asia.I am therefore convinced that all who visit the website will find it useful in obtaining information about Ghana.

 

PRESS STATEMENT

 

The Government of Ghana is deeply concerned about the severity of the outbreak of the Ebola Virus Disease in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, therefore, wishes to advise Ghanaians who intend to travel to these three countries to refrain from doing so, unless it is absolutely necessary. Those who do travel to these countries will be thoroughly screened prior to their reentry into the country.

Furthermore, as part of the critical measures being taken to minimize the high risk of the country being affected by the Ebola virus, the Government of Ghana has placed a three months suspension on international conferences and meetings to be held in the country with effect from 14th August, 2014.
