Overview
With the Lightning to USB Camera Adapter, it's easy to download photos and videos from your digital camera to your iPad with Retina display or iPad mini, so you can view them on the gorgeous iPad display and share them with family and friends.
After you connect the Lightning to USB Camera Adapter, your iPad automatically opens the Photos app, which lets you choose which photos and videos to import, then organizes them into albums. When you sync iPad to your PC or Mac, the photos and videos on your iPad are added to your computer's photo library.
The Lightning to USB Camera Adapter supports standard photo formats, including JPEG and RAW, along with SD and HD video formats, including H.264 and MPEG-4.

Great connector
This product is great for the new iPad I bought! I received the message "requires too much power" and fixed that problem real quick. I went on my camera and changed the charging option to off. After that it has been flawless! I am ready for Germany now!

I bought this today to go with my iPad mini. Just posting here to confirm that it worked flawlessly between my 40D (shooting RAW) and my iPad mini. So I could postprocessing them during travel using a RAW Editor like the Photogene App. A perfect tool! Game completely changed since iOS 9! NO RAW IMPORT ANYMORE! New Formatting SD-cards brings no solution. It's a pity, that this bug makes iPad unusable for photographers! APPLE, PLEASE FIX THIS BUG WITH iOS 9.2!

Worked for me right out of the box. iPad Air, iOS 9.0.2, Nikon D70. Plugged in and connected USB cables, and Photos launched. Selected IMPORT, and my photos Worked for me right out of the box. iPad Air, iOS 9.0.2, Nikon D70. Plugged in and connected USB cables, and Photos launched. Selected IMPORT, and my photos were uploaded to my iPad without any issues. On the D70, my USB was set to Mass Storage, which is what I had always used when uploaded via USB to my Mac Pro.

I purchased the adapt I purchased this adapter to use the outstanding Audio-Technica 2020 USB microphone on my iPad Air. I have been using the mic on my iMac. I purchased the adapter, plugged in the AT 2020, and it operates PERFECTLY on my iPad Air. I use the microphone to produce better audio quality when making Adobe Voice presentations.
