Decent This suite of widgets works essentially as advertised, with minimal problems mostly relating to the polar clock, which does not function correctly. The numerical clock displays both local civil time (obtained from your device) and local apparent solar time (obtained from location data.) The latter, of course, only functions effectively during daylight hours. After sunset, but before civil midnight, the solar time displays as a kind of 'hour of the night' function. However, after civil midnight in your location, the time switches to 'countdown,' with negative hours displayed. The 'Prayer Time' widget occurs in three forms, depending on the lunar calendar chosen in the settings menu. If the Hebrew calendar is chosen, Zmanim times are displayed in Hebrew. If Islamic times are chosen, Salat times are displayed in Arabic. Finally, if no lunar calendar is chosen, this widget displays certain useful astronomical times: dawn, sunrise, solar transit, sunset, astronomical twilight, and solar midnight. All times are given in local time. Paired with the clock, it's a powerful tool. For a free app, it doesn't get much better. Recommended.
