Adult Swim has given a greenlight to Dream Corp, LLC., an animated comedy series from director Daniel Stessen. The show will be executive produced by The Office (USA) alum John Krasinski and The Office (UK) alum Stephen Merchant, along with Krasinski’s Sunday Night production partner Allyson Seeger.

Set to begin production before the end of the year, the absurdist workplace comedy takes place in a foundering dream-therapy facility in which a rotating cast of patients have their dreams recorded and analyzed by Dr. Roberts (Jon Gries of Napoleon Dynamite), the program’s absent-minded supervisor, and his team of scientists. The series will use rotoscoping instead of traditional animation, drawing from Stessen’s experience directing short film The Gold Sparrow.

Dream Corp, LLC. will continue Adult Swim’s expansion of original animated programming. The network is also home to Rick And Morty and Venture Bros., among others. Airing nightly from 8 PM-6 AM, Adult Swim is seen in 96 million U.S. homes. Stessen is repped by Principato Young Entertainment and Stone Meyer Genow Smelkinson & Binder, LLP.
