Calman Learning Centre

Calman Learning Centre

A new Science Site Lecture Theatre complex, called The Calman Learning Centre, was opened in summer 2007.

TRAINING

If you will be lecturing in one of the new lecture theatres, it is vital that you attend training in using the new AV equipment, which includes a computerised lecture theatre control system. This controls an interactive tablet computer, video/DVD playback, document cameras, sliding column whiteboards, split screen projection, the ability to display projection to more than one theatre for overspill, audio and video conferencing.

For any lecturer not familiar with the AV equipment installed in the CLC and its operation, CIS offer suitable training courses at appropriate times of the year. For course details, please keep checking the University Training Course Booking System.
