Lithuania Will Not Be In Malta

LRT have confirmed today that they will not be taking part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014. In an email published on Twitter by Maxim Shapoval, LRT confirmed that they were not planning on taking part in this years contest. Lithuania debuted in JESC in 2007 and participated in four editions of the contest before withdrawing after the 2011 contest in Armenia.

So far a total of 9 countries have confirmed participation in the contest in Malta, with Greece returning to the contest for the first time since 2008.

  2. We’ll just have to wait for Hungary and Iceland to debut in Marsa.
    I also want the following to reverse their decisions:
    *Belgium
    *Germany
    *Denmark
    *Norway
    *United Kingdom.

    ..and for THESE countries to return:
    *Albania
    *Israel
    *Bulgaria

    And that’s pretty much it :)
