Former Missouri State pitcher Pierce Johnson had a strong 2013 season, his first full year as a professional.
Pierce Johnson wanted to prove he was durable enough to pitch an entire season of professional baseball without any significant setbacks.
The former Missouri State standout did that - along with delivering prospect-worthy results - while navigating two levels of the Chicago Cubs' farm system.
