Environmental Policy
In July 2010 BCM became inaugural members of Manchester City Council’s Environmental Business Pledge scheme. This scheme aims to promote continual improvement and the key areas included in the plan are:-

- Put Ideas forward to improve the local area
BCM is committed to reducing carbon emissions associated with the operation of our business. We are accredited to the BSI ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System (EMS) Standard. Achieving and maintaining this standard recognises BCM's commitment to identifying areas where our business impacts on the environment, and our compliance with Environmental Legislation.
Our EMS is managed by the EMS team, including members of management with experience in Low Carbon Consulting and a certified internal auditor, however the whole BCM staff are aware that to drive improvements in environmental performance it takes small changes from all staff members to make a big difference.
