The Seashell Trust

Description

The Seashell Trust is a charitable Trust caring for young people and adults with complex needs.  The campus, which is being redeveloped over a number of years, caters for both day and residential pupils. The Seashell Trust operates as a school and college, with residential accommodation for 100 students and has a swimming pool amongst its many amenities.

The Trust are redeveloping their campus (within the green belt) to upgrade their facilities in line with future standards and reduce their ongoing energy and maintenance costs.

BCM have produced an energy masterplan which will be implemented in a phased manner as funding becomes available and the campus is redeveloped.  In order to determine the masterplan, an extensive range of option appraisals and phasing options were considered.

The final agreed masterplan is currently in the process of being implemented.
