Lady Colin Campbell has been keeping ITV viewers on their toes this last week, going from fan favourite to controversial campmate.
Before she QUIT the show, of course.
But there’s one person who definitely wasn’t watching to find out if she could take the Queen of the Jungle crown – her ex-husband Lord Colin Campbell.
In a new interview, Lady C’s ex has branded her a ‘monster’ and a ‘complete fake’ after revealing that she was never upfront about being brought up as a boy.
‘She can seem charming and lovely but in my opinion she is a monster. I think she’s a crushing snob and a complete fake,’ he told The Sun.
The two met in New York in 1974 and married after spending just five days together.
They later divorced after 14 months of marriage but Lord Campbell revealed that he soon discovered that Lady Campbell, who at the time was going by the name Georgia Ziadie, was ‘trouble with a capital T’ and he offered one piece of advice to the other contestants in the jungle.
‘Avoid her at all costs.’
‘After she told me [she was bought up as a boy], I could not even bring myself to look at my wife, let alone touch her,’ he continued.
‘Looking back I do feel sorry for her, but she should have told me the truth. Things were not so liberal back then and the scandal was deeply embarrassing for my family.’
