But, just in case that needed re-iterating, Alexa Chung nailed seasonal chic when she stepped out in New York City on Tuesday.

The brunette beauty, 32, was seen cutting a dash when she stepped out in Manhattan for her latest media project.

Joined by an attentive camera crew, the Hampshire-born beauty scored a fashion hit in her choice of ensemble, which consisted of mixed textures.

Starting with stonewash demin and a cashmere sweater, she covered up in a grey woollen coat, which she wrapped tightly around her waist.

Capping it with some metallic shoes, she also accessorised with a scarf around her neck.
