Tony Ferguson was the big bonus winner at “The Ultimate Fighter 22” finale.

Ferguson and opponent Edson Barboza each garnered $50,000 “Fight of the Night” honors for their enthralling lightweight clash at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, and Ferguson reeled in an additional $50,000 “Performance of the Night” award for his stellar work.

The two lightweights went back and forth during their thrilling battle, which Ferguson won via brabo choke at the 2:54 mark of the second round. The opening stanza was a “Round of the Year” candidate, with both fighters landing a variety of offense. The action carried over into round two before “El Cucuy” sprawled on a Barboza shot and ensnared the Brazilian in the fight-ending submission.

Elsewhere, Frankie Edgar’s statement win made him $50,000 richer. “The Answer” earned a “Performance of the Night” bonus in emphatic fashion, as he knocked out Chad Mendes 2:28 into the opening round of their headlining featherweight showdown. A right hand-left hook combination brought a shocking halt to the pivotal featherweight showdown and moved Edgar right back to the top of the list of title contenders.
