    Continued improvement on the labour market

    In November 2015, 4 873 000 persons aged 15-74 were employed, not seasonally adjusted. This is an increase of 87 000 compared to November 2014. The number of unemployed persons decreased by 55 000 and amounted to 325 000. The unemployment rate decreased by 1.2 percentage points, amounting to 6.2 percent. The number of hours worked averaged 167.1 million per week. Smoothed and seasonally adjusted data shows an increase in employment and a decrease in unemployment, which amounted to 7.0 percent.

    Decreased financial wealth of households

    Households' financial net wealth continued to decrease during the third quarter of 2015. Wealth had decreased by SEK 103 billion, mainly due to the drop on the stock market at the same time as debts increased. Households' financial savings amounted to SEK 6 billion.

    Average local tax rates increase in 63 municipalities

    The average local tax rates will increase next year from 31.99 to 32.10 percent. However, it will only be a raise for the residents in 63 municipalities. For most residents the tax rates will be unaltered. The tax rate will be lowered for the residents in 9 municipalities.

    Contribution of civil society to GDP was 3.3 percent

    The total production of the civil society was SEK 219 billion in 2013. Of these, payments from public administration amounting to SEK 34 billion are included. Value added to the civil society amounted to SEK 124 billion. Accordingly, the contribution of civil society to Sweden's GDP was 3.3 percent.
