PARKING

Paid Parking is available in the Whistler Blackcomb Day Skier lots as well as off Blackcomb Way. The Whistler Conference Centre has an underground and an above ground parkade that offers hourly parking. All festival theatres are located within a 10 to 15 minute walk from all these parking lots.

THEATRE PROCEDURES

There will be three line-ups for each screening: one for patrons, one for ticket holders and industry passholders (though passholders will be seated first), and one for ticket purchases, commonly referred to as the rush ticket line.

SAME DAY AND RUSH TICKETS

Same day tickets may be purchased online up to one hour in advance of the screening or at the WFF Box Office or Theatre Box Offices presenting your selected film. Rush tickets are only available at the theatre box office for your selected film on day of screening. Please arrive a minimum of 45 minutes in advance of your film and join the rush line to be the first to purchase released tickets. Rush tickets can be purchased with cash only

PASSHOLDERS

A generous allotment of seats is reserved for pass-holders at each screening. While a pass does not guarantee seating, passholders are allowed access until either that allotment has been reached or, in the case of busy screenings, until 15 minutes prior to show time. Passholders should arrive for a screening at least 15 minutes before show time (30 minutes in advance recommended) and join the appropriate line-up. After that, passholders must join the ticket purchase line and take their chances. If seats remain available by the time the passholders reach the Box Office, they will not have to purchase tickets; rather, they will be given a ticket and may immediately enter the theatre. All passes are strictly non-transferable and photo I.D. may be required at the theatres.

FESTIVAL PASSHOLDER FLEXIBILITY

We offer passholders the ability to walk into any public screening, before or during the film, as long as ticket holders have not occupied all the seats (or are not expected to) for that screening. Of course minimal disturbance is insisted upon, but it is in the nature of a festival that viewers, and especially viewers who are working while attending screenings (filmmakers, critics, programmers, buyers, etc.), are expected to be able to move from one film to another as they need. We encourage passholders to take advantage of this flexibility, but please remember that opening doors often disturbs viewers. Please choose your seats accordingly, and do your best not to disturb your fellow viewers.

SEEING TWO SCREENINGS IN A ROW?

Film-goers planning to attend a consecutive screening in the same auditorium (or in a different theatre at our multiplex venue) may want to get a Second Pass Entry Ticket before their first screening begins. The distribution of tickets for second screenings is done from the line-up on a first-come, first-serve basis and their number is limited. When this limited advance allotment has been reached, additional passholders may have to join the appropriate line-up outside the theatre (see above) if their intended screening is busy.

Passholders at our multiplex venue, choosing to attend another screening that is not busy (no line-up and available pass entry tickets) may have the opportunity to be seated without having to go outside, providing: the space is available, their pass has been verified and a WFF Manager has recorded their attendance; otherwise, it will be necessary to return outside and join the line-up. All passholders holding Second Pass Entry Tickets for the next screening in the same theatre will be allowed to stay in their seats if they choose. However, if you want to leave, please remain in your seats until our staff has verified your tickets and made a count. If you wish to exit the theatre before the count is made you may be asked to rejoin the ticket line.
