Electricity Supply: 220V/50HZ

China uses a 220 volt 50 Hz cycle system so electric appliances from countries that use 220/240 will operate without any adapter. Appliances requiring 110 volts will need transformer to operate. Hotels will not always have these. We recommend that you bring a transformer with you. Chinese hotels cater for most plug types.

Li-River Cruise

Guilin scenery is acclaimed as the "Best Under Heaven" and the most beautiful scenes are found along the Li-River. The hills beyond hills with their reflections in the crystal water are like fairy land, the green bamboo greets you all the way along the river in the breeze; the water buffaloes eating grass casually; the ducks swimming along the river; the fisherman fishing or catnapping on the bamboo rafts with his cormorants resting peacefully next to him, it's God dotted landscape.

 Elephant Trunk Hill

Elephant Hill is also called Elephant-Trunk Hill. It looks like an elephant drinking water at the confluence of the Taohua River and the Lijiang River. A round open space between the elephant trunk and its body is called Water-Moon Cave. At a clear night the moon seems to fall on the bottom of the water and at the same time float on the water surface.

Yangshuo

Located 65 kilometers to the southeast of Guilin, Yangshuo is an ancient town which became a county in Jin Dynasty some 1500 years ago. Yangshuo is famous not only for the attractive hills and waters there, but also for its abundant prodUCE, particularly for such fruits as sweet orange, tangerine, pomelo and persimmon.

Longsheng

Longshen once was a separate multi-minority autonomous county, inhabited by the Yao, Zhuang, Dong and Miao people, but now is part of the greater Guilin area. Its main attraction is the rice terraces (Longji Titian), called Dragon Backbones by the locals. Also of interest are the hot springs and the small mountain villages among the wooded areas of trees and bamboos.

The most spectacular Karst region in the world
Guilin ,by the banks of the Li River , is considered to be one of the most beautiful tourist cities in China.
