Multiple organizations sign statement; support calls for open processes at pivotal U.N. meeting
Highlighting the discrepancy between levels of Internet access in the country versus rates of adoption, the “Kyrgyz Internet Environment Assessment” provides an analysis of the current Internet environment, focusing on both the opportunities and the potential barriers to further development of the Internet in the region.
The Internet Society, in partnership with the Internet eXchange Point in Nigeria (IXPN), held its “Internet Routing Technologies and IXP interconnection” workshop to increase local technical capacity and enhance the use of Internet exchange points (IXPs) in Nigeria.
