Museum of Natural Science
The Museum of Natural Science is an educational facility available to students in elementary and secondary schools, college students, and members of the community.
The Museum is free and open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on holidays and is located on the main floor of Lind Lecture Hall (see campus map, bottom right). Student groups are encouraged to visit in the afternoon.
Hosted (guided by a WSU faculty member) field trips are not available at this time, but self-guided groups are welcome. For additional information or questions, please feel welcome to contact us.
Museum Scavenger Hunts
Make your next museum trip an adventure! Print out our free Museum Scavenger Hunt activity forms for a fun and educating experience. For the younger children, the Museum Fun walkthrough allows you to ask them questions about the different areas of science for them to search out the answers to.
With the self-guided hunts below, you'll search for the answers to the questions in our museum exhibits. There are questions for each category of science: Life Science (green), Cultural Science (red), and Physical Science (blue). Look throughout the museum exhibits. See if you can answer them all! When you are done, come back and check your answers to see how you did!
