Hair Color: Unknown or bald. No hair was found on the skull.
Medical: moderate scoliosis (curvature of the spine) and moderate arthritis of the spine. Bone spurs on bottom of both feet. Evidence of an old, healed fracture of the pelvis. May have walked hunched over with a noticeable limp.
Marks, scars, tattoos: unknown
Dentals: Available. Two pre-molars missing, but all other teeth present and in good condition with evidence of past dental work.
Clothing: gray, pleated/cuffed dress pants (
U.S. Polo Association, size 32W x 28L);
brown dress socks with a black checkerboard pattern,
black dress shoes (
Dexter, approximate size 10),
Hanes brief-style mens underwear.
No shirt.
Other: a few dollars and change in pants pocket, but no identification.
Estimated Time of Death: 12 to 18 months (September 2007 to March 2008) prior to being found.
Cause of Death: there was no evidence of foul play. There was, however, trace amounts of amphetamines in the man's system. It is believed that he died from an accidental drug overdose.
DNA: Samples submitted, not yet complete
Case DetailsOn Sunday, March 15, 2009, a man hunting for stray golf balls near the Island Green Golf Course stumbled upon the skeletal remains of the victim in the 2400 block of Pine Road, near the intersection of Red Lion Road, in Lower Moreland.
Authorities have checked missing persons reports from Montgomery and Bucks counties as well as Philadelphia but have not been able to identify the victim.
