Vijay (Deewar): It was here that Amitabh Bachchan's image as the angry young man was created. The movie did exceptionally well at the box office and won seven Filmfare awards.

Noorie(Noorie): We all remember the sweet romance between Farrukh Shaikh and Poonam Dhillon on the banks of a flowing stream. Yash Chopra had a special connection with Kashmir. His love for the beautiful valley was evident from his films.

Chandni(Chandni): Sridevi is best known for Yash Chopraâ??s romantic film Chandni. She was cast opposite Rishi Kapoor and Vinod Khanna in the film.

Raj Malhotra and Simran(Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge): Thanks to Yash Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are still called one of the best on screen couples in Bollywood. After Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, the name Raj became SRK's favourite screen name.

Veer Pratap Singh and Zara (Veer-Zara): This timeless saga of love, longing and fulfillment was a smashing hit in India as well as abroad.  Veer was played by Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta was Zara.
