Roller Compacted Concrete is an extremely strong, dense, and durable concrete solution that is creating its own pathway into the industry. It gets its name from the process used to apply it – placed with asphalt paving equipment then compacted with rollers. Roller compacted concrete has the same general ingredients as typical concrete, but it has less water making it a drier mix. It can be put down without joints and it eliminates rutting, deformation, deterioration, and pot holes. Roller compacted concrete is also a great solution for many large projects because it is typically mixed on or near the work site and is applied quickly and economically.
