Lumiere London 2016: The UK's largest light festival, in pictures

Elephantastic, created by Catherine Garret/Top'la Design, sees a strikingly like-life elephant emerge from a cloud of dust to make a slow and heavy journey through the archway on Air Street

Phone boxes full of fish, towering animated circuses and virtual pavement drawings are among the eccentric art installations lighting up London. The capital is hosting a colourful assortment of projects set up for the Lumiere London festival. The light festival features in 30 locations including Mayfair, Westminster and Regent Street every night till January 17.
